Guidelines for clients during a makeup and hair session:

  • To ensure a smooth process, we kindly request that you refrain from checking the mirror or phone camera until the entire process is complete. Any adjustments can be made at the end.

  • Please respect the artist by avoiding phone calls, scrolling through social media, or texting, unless it's an emergency. Minimizing distractions will enhance your experience and improve the results.

How do I book an appointment?

  • Please fill out the inquiry form on the contact page, and I will respond within  24 hours. For a quicker response, you can also text  858-717-2482.

Do you provide on-location services?

  • To travel to your bridal suite or hotel, a minimum of  3 makeup and hair services is required. If you have fewer people, you will need to come to my studio.

How can I reserve a date?

  • To secure a date, a non-refundable deposit of  50% is required. Once the deposit is made, please text me a screenshot and proof of transaction, along with the following information:

  1. Full name

  2. Date of event

  3. Contact information

  4. Address for the hotel/bridal suite

  5. Earliest start time

  6. Time we need to be done by

  7. Headcount for makeup and hair services

How does the makeup and hair trial work?

  • The makeup and hair trial is free! You will pay the initial payment upfront, but if you decide to book with us, the trial fee will be credited to your wedding day service package.

  • After you book your trial date, I will send you a short video to help you prepare for your trial.

How long does the makeup and hair trial take?

  • We prefer not to rush the trial to ensure we can fix and adjust the hair and makeup application according to your vision. The trial includes:

  1. 15 minutes for before and after photos

  2. 30 minutes to discuss your dress style, vision, and inspiration photos

  3. 1.5 hours for makeup

  4. 45 minutes to  2 hours for hair, depending on length, style, and amount of hair. Hair extensions application incurs an additional fee.

Can I bring someone with me for a trial?

  • We highly recommend avoiding distractions during this personalized, one-on-one process. We have had negative experiences with too many opinions. If you must bring someone, please ensure they understand that we only want to know the bride's vision for her wedding day, not the mother of the bride or maid of honor's vision.

  • Scheduling your trial on the day of your engagement photoshoot can save time and money. However, please allow sufficient time for the trial, as rushing may result in an unsatisfactory outcome. We want this to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience for both parties.

How long does it take for each hair and makeup session?

  • The trial run typically takes three times longer than the actual event day since we've already rehearsed the style and color choices.

  • For special occasions and bridesmaids, it usually takes  1 hour and  25 minutes or less for makeup and hair.

  • For brides, it generally takes around  1.5 to  2 hours for makeup and hair.

  • Please don't rely solely on this information to set your own timeline for makeup and hair scheduling. We often have multiple artists working on one person, so it's best to let us determine the glamour session schedule.
